The idea behind the book was to provide a sourcebook for double‐sided stitch patterns so that you can dip into it any time you are designing a new project. The stitches are arranged in twelve chapters according to the appearance of the stitch, so that there are separate chapters for diagonal stitches, cabled patterns or lace stitches, for example.
Here, for example, is Tricolour Seed Stitch, which is a wonderfully colourful stitch worked with three toning colours.
For more information about reversible knitting and to see more sample pages from the book, please click here, and to purchase a copy of Reversible Knitting Stitches, please click here. The book pdf file is available for immediate download from the site.
You can then open it on any computer, tablet or phone. You can “pinch and zoom” to view any details at a larger magnification and can also turn your phone sideways if you prefer to use it in a landscape mode.
I have shown a picture of the book on a phone at the top of this page and will be back next time to show it also on an iPad.
Happy Reversible Knitting!
