The Grayswood Scarf is perfect for Spring-time layering. Worked in a delicate reversible lace pattern, this light-weight scarf helps to bridge the gap between the cold winter months and the summer ahead.
The scarf is knit in a deliciously soft wool mix yarn which is just perfect for this time of year. It includes merino and cashmere for warmth and is blended with a touch of Tencel which gives a wonderful crispness and drape to the finished item. TECHNIQUES REQUIRED: Knitting, purling, increases, decreases, slipped stitches and yarn overs. SIZES: Small (Medium, Large) Width: 22 (25, 25)cm/8.5 (10, 10) ins Length: 155 (165, 175)cm/61 (65, 69) ins MATERIALS: Yarn: Willow & Lark Nest DK (Double Knitting) yarn . 69% merino wool, 11% cashmere, 20% Tencel, 115m/126 yds:50gm ball . Colour: #203 Cloudy Days or #218 Sapphire x6 (7, 7) balls Actual amount used (large size): 314gm/11.1 oz, 722m/790 yds. Yarn substitution: To use an alternative yarn, please select a DK yarn with a recommended gauge of about 22 sts:10cm/4 ins using 4.0mm/US #6 needles. Needles: Size 3.5mm/US #4 needles, length 25cm/10 ins. Gauge: 28 sts & 34 rows:10cm/4 ins in Double Moss Stitch, using 3.5mm/US #4 needles. Notions: Row counter and tapestry needle for finishing. |
