DIFFICULTY: Intermediate
TECHNIQUES REQUIRED: Knitting, purling, working in the round and 3-needle bind off. SIZES: Small (Medium, Large) Side measurements: 39 (44, 49)cm/15.5 (17.5, 19.5) ins. To fit cushions: 40 (45, 50)cm/16 (18, 20) ins square. MATERIALS: Yarn: Knit Picks “Wool of the Andes”, 100% wool, 101m/110 yds:50gm ball in: . Either: #23766 Avocado or: #24653 Calypso Heather . x4 (5, 7) balls for each cushion Actual amount used in large cushion: 312gm/11 oz, 630m/689 yds Yarn substitution: To use an alternative yarn, please select a Worsted / Light Aran weight wool yarn with a recommended gauge of 18-20 sts:10 cm/4 ins using 4-5.5mm/US #6-9 needles. Needles: . 4.5mm/US #7 circular needles, length 80 (80, 100) cm/32 (32, 40) ins . Spare 4.5mm/US #7 needle for 3-needle Bind Off Gauge: 22 sts & 26 rows:10cm/4 ins in Woven Reed Stitch pattern, using 4.5mm/US #7 needles. Notions: . Row counter, removable markers and tapestry needle for finishing . Sewing needle and thread . Cushion insert or pillow form: 40 (45, 50) cm/16 (18, 20) ins square. .
