TECHNIQUES REQUIRED: Knitting, purling, increases & decreases. Spa Mitt only: Working in the round. SIZES: . Pillow: 30cm/12 ins wide, 23cm/9 ins high & 6cm/2.5 ins deep. . Mitt: 23cm/9 ins high & 24cm/9.5 ins in circumference. MATERIALS: Yarn: DMC Natura XL Just Cotton Super Chunky yarn 100% brushed cotton, 75m/82 yds:100gm ball, in Colour #03 Ecru (cream): . Pillow: x3 balls . Mitt: x1 ball . Pillow & Mitt Set: x3 balls Actual Amounts used: . Pillow: 221gm/7.8 oz, 166m/182yds . Mitt: 57gm/2.1 oz, 43m/47 yds Yarn substitution: To use an alternative yarn, please select a softly-spun cotton in a chunky/bulky weight with a suggested gauge of approximately 12sts: 10cm/4 ins using 8-9mm/US #11-13 needles. Needles: Size 5.5mm/US #9 circular needles, length 80cm/32 ins. Gauge: 12 sts and 18 rows:10cm/4 ins in Double Rib using 5.5mm/US #9 needles. Notions: Row counter, thread markers and tapestry needle for finishing. For Spa Pillow only: . 2 medium suction cups with rounded “mushroom” ends . 3 medium-sized flat buttons . 10cm/4 ins fine elastic plus sewing needle & thread . Crochet hook and safety pins. .
