Pattern Information
Difficulty: Intermediate
Techniques Required: Knitting, purling, slipped stitches and working with long stitch chart or written instructions. Sizes: Small (Medium, Large) Width: 19 (21, 26) cm / 7.5 (8.25, 10.25) ins. Length: 175 (182.5, 190) cm / 69 (72, 75) ins. Yarn: Lang Yarns Merino Plus / Merino+ Worsted-weight yarn, 100% merino wool, 90m/98 yds:50 gm ball in two colours as per size and colourway selected. Yarn colours: Col 1: #25 Navy, Col 2: #34 Blue, Col 3: #270 Charcoal, Col 4: #224 Grey Colourways: Small MC: Col 2 Blue x5 balls, CC: Col 1 Navy x2 balls. Medium MC: Col 4 Grey x6 balls, CC: Col 3 Charcoal x2 balls. Large MC: Col 3 Charcoal x7 balls, CC: Col 2 Blue x2 balls. Actual amount used in Large size scarf: MC/Charcoal Grey: 322 gm, 580m/634 yds, CC/Blue: 60 gm,108m/118 yds. Yarn substitution: To use an alternative yarn, select a 100% merino wool yarn with a recommended gauge of 17 sts:10 cm/4 ins using 4.5mm/US #7 needles. Needles: Size 4.0mm/US #6 circular needles, minimum length 150cm/60 ins Notions: Tapestry needle for finishing, rustless pins & water spray for blocking. Gauge: 22 sts/32 rows:10cm/4 ins in Ridged Check Pattern, using 4.0mm/US #6 needles. |
