TECHNIQUES REQUIRED: Basic knitting skills + Provisional Cast-On Picking up stitches for buttonbands Increases & decreases Yarn overs and twisted stitches for buttonholes SIZES: Small (Medium, Large, XL) To fit Neck Size: Sml: 35.5-38 cm / 14-15 ins Med: 38-40.5 cm / 15-16 ins Lrg: 40.5-43 cm / 16-17 ins XL: 43-46 cm / 17-18 ins MATERIALS: Yarn: Cascade Yarns “Eco Cloud” Aran-weight yarn, 70% merino wool, 30% alpaca, 150m/164yds:100gm ball in Col # 1801 Cream x 2 (2, 2*, 3) balls. Actual Amount used / Small size: 154gm / 5.5 oz, 231m / 253 yds. NB: The Lrg size used almost all of the 2 balls of yarn specified. Please purchase or hold an extra ball just in case! Needles: Main Needle: Size 5.5 mm/US #9 circular ndls, length 80cm/32 ins. Button Bands: Size 4.5mm/US #7 straight or circular ndls. Spare needles in each size for picking up Provisional CO stitches. Gauge: 18 sts / 26 rows:10cm/4 ins in Double Moss Stitch, using 5.5mm/US #9 ndls. Notions: Markers Cable needle Tapestry needle Row Counter Safety pins Crochet hook for Prov CO 3 x Buttons, 21mm, ⅞ ins diameter & sewing thread to match Stitch holder or spare interchangeable needle cord Small amount of Waste Yarn for Provisional Cast-On |
