- Mentmore Socks
The Mentmore Socks are worked in a textured slip stitch pattern which is soft and cushioning, making them perfect for walking, hiking or just as an everyday sock. They are knit from the top down and feature a form-fitting mitred heel and grafted toe.
The pattern includes two versions. The first is for solid-coloured yarns and is worked with a deep turn-down cuff for extra warmth around the ankle. The second version is for tonal or hand-dyed yarns and uses a special technique to mix and blend the yarns giving a dynamic and intriguing interplay of the yarn colours. This version features a short cuff in a crisp half-twisted rib.
