The Ennismore Lap-Rug is a wonderfully organic design which brings to mind a freshly-ploughed field. The stitch pattern is reversible and easy to work, giving a lovely textural feel to the finished item.

The pattern includes instructions for three different sizes. The small size is perfect as a lap-rug for someone in a chair or wheelchair – wide enough to keep the draughts at bay without being cumbersome. It would also work well on long car journeys.

The two larger sizes provide some extra coverage when you want to relax with your feet up at the end of a day. The medium version is a good size for a TV blanket or afghan while the large size can be used as a cozy guest room throw. All sizes are worked in a soft superwash yarn for easy care.
